Confused on which bag sealer to purchase? Keep reading, we make it easier.
Choosing a heat sealer can be become overwhelming.  Your journey begins with an idea of what you want to do for your packaging.  Then the reality sets in.  You have found the perfect bag for your project, but just don't know which sealer to buy to seal it.

Have the following information ready:

  • The length of the seal you need
  • The type of material you will be sealing
  • The thickness of the material
  • The width of the seal itself you require (this can vary depending on what you are putting in your bag)

If you are sealing Polyethylene or Polypropylene using a impulse sealer would work just fine, but which one?

Are you doing a low volume of seals?  Then the hand impulse sealer would be a perfect fit.

Are you doing a high volume of seals?  Consider an impulse sealer with a foot pedal to allow hands free sealing.  Perhaps you have a much higher volume in mind, then an automatic impulse sealer would be the right choice.

How thick is your material?  Knowing this will help you determine if you need a standard impulse sealer or a double impulse sealer (heating from the top and bottom).

If you are sealing something such as a coffee bag, then a constant heat sealer would be the correct choice.  You can also use a double impulse sealer with some coffee bags.

We will not get into every scenario of situations, as there would be no way to cover all of those.  Please use our Sealer Selector found below.  *Please note that this is only a guide.  There are many personal variables that should factor into your purchasing decision.
