Labels in Our Everyday Life

Labels have been around for many years and have a multitude of uses.  The most common types are permanent (more secure) and peelable (removable).  There are many type of labels, such as; paper, plastic, thermal, foil, magnetic and latex.  They can be used in everyday life at home, office, warehouse and most anywhere.

By adhering them to items you can more easily identify contents or use them for coding.  Some of the more common forms of attaching labels are PSA (pressure sensitive adhesive, otherwise known as self-stick), glue, static cling and heat activated.  

They can be used during packaging, mailing, inventory, garments, bar coding, on your assets, luggage and for printing on to name a few.
