Requires only a #1 & #2 Philips screwdriver to complete.
First, lay the impulse heat sealer on it's side and remove the 4 screws inside the rubber feet using a #2 Philips screwdriver. Then remove the bottom plate from the sealer.
Attached to the back of the sealers timer is a wiring harness. Gently unplug the harness from the timer.
Now remove the 4 screws on the face of the timer holding it in place and remove old timer from sealer unit. This is done with a #1 Philips screwdriver.
Installation is the opposite of the removal procedure.
As you can see in the picture below, the impulse sealers timer wiring terminals are set so that the harness connector can only go on one way. Be sure to properly line up the terminals and gently re-install the plug on the back of the timer. Make certain that the plug is fully seated on the timers terminals.
After installing the new timer in the impulse sealer and connecting the wiring harness, reattach the bottom cover and rubber feet.
Be sure to plug the impulse sealer only into a properly grounded outlet and test for proper operation.
