This is the impulse sealer we should have started with. It makes our process so much more cohesive and efficient. It's a little on the spendy side, but it is heavy and durable. It takes some time to figure out the heat settings. Fast shipping and calling in to the company and talking to a friendly human was great!

Hate to give it a 3 star. Machine is heavy duty and works great, except for one defect. After using the unit for 2 hours the latch would not lock. I noticed the magnet was loose and so I picked it up wondering was this the way it was built. Upon inspecting the bottom of the magnet, I saw three screws holes...ok 3 screws must of fell off. I shook the unit hoping to hear screws rolling around otherwise I have an unidentified problem. Luckily 3 loose screws was the culprit. Took a little bit of time to fix.

We first bought this item 3 years ago and for 2 1/2 years it worked great. When we started having problems, we bought new one. Problems with the new one happened right away. So we bought another new one. We have problems with both. Don't know what happened to the quality of this item, but we haven't found anything else we can use that will work as good as these, when they are working.

This is a solid product. I purchased another sealer for less money, but it didn't work for long. Ended up spending more on this one and I'm not disappointed.

Solidly built and 5mm seal holds well. Room to add a slitter blade if needed (another model comes with a blade preinstalled). Timed magnetic latch is especially helpful in making consistent seals

This was the only sealer that did what it said. Very reliable and was worth every penny.

Bought this to seal autoclave bags. I've had a couple junky heat sealers in the past. This one blows them out of the water. It's also the best looking out of all of them. I never have to worry if it will seal properly. Glad I made this purchase.

This heat sealer works great, without any issues. I had purchased a cheap heat sealer and it never worked well. Now, I am happy and doing my sealing operations with more confidence. Thank you!

This is a great product but is not 100% effective at times. Sometimes it will make a complete seal but sometimes it won't. I was hoping the magnetic feature and heat & cool settings will make it better than my old impulse sealer. But it could be the plastic bags. I've tried in full heat and it still does not fully seal at times.

The Manufacturer is always right on for their sealers. This item is following the same path.

This has been a mixed bag experience that started off badly but finally got better. Arrival: it arrived in good shape. I unpacked it and set the control knobs--it would not seal at all. No heat whatsoever. I adjusted the knobs, eventually all the way to the highest--still no seal, no crimp, no heat. nothing. I called Pack mfg, explained the problem, and the service tech told me to undo the pivot point linkage to check the microswitch. When I did that, all the components, springs, and everything interdependent on that pivot fell apart. The microswitch was not there. (switch access is from the bottom of the sealer) Then...the tech told me that he wasn't very familiar with the magnetic model that I have and that I should call the manufacturer instead. I opened up the base of the sealer and found that a wire and connector blade were apart--that was the the reason for no heat whatsoever. Now my sealer was in pieces and impossible to get back together. I called the manufacturer and asked if they could text me a picture or video of the linkage pieces so I could reassemble it. They would not send me a picture or video or put something on their Youtube channel. The man I talked to said "oh, it's very difficult to put back together" He said I needed to pay shipping $25 to send it to them so they could put it back together. I did not want pay $25 and be without my sealer for probably three weeks in transit. Long story short, with four hands and many attempts, my daughter and I were able to align and pin all of these pieces. The magnetic sealer itself it great! The customer service from Pack and the manufacturer was dismal. Three stars because I like the sealer, not for the service.
